List is of English, Welsh and Aries roots. It was early on that she began to be interested in acting, as well as it was during her childhood that she became an infant model. List started with her acting journey in the year 2002 and her modeling career began in the year 2009. She appeared in the soap As the World Turns (2002) in the role of Bess as Bess in All My Children (2004) as well as the teen Jane Nichols in 27 Dresses (2008). Her acting career began in the theatre and eventually moved to television and film. She performed in successful stage productions including Ruby Sunrise Frank's HOME as well as The Chicago productions of Dollhouse and Ghosts. In films, she appeared that came out in the middle of 2000s. These include Then She Found Me, with Helen Hunt (2007), and Michael Clayton, starring George Clooney (2007). The film, Push (2009) in which she is also Teresa Stowe. She was Rabbi Renannah Zimmerman on 'Leaves of Grass' (2009).
